Quality Control and Food Safety

Good value means nothing if the provisions arrive spoiled. When you provision a vessel you are buying a chain of custody — the question is whether everything was held at temperature and handled to standard from goods-inward to your deck, and whether anyone can prove it. Here is how we do that.

Standards you can verify

What this means

The two certifications, in plain language

HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points)
A food-safety system that identifies where contamination could occur in handling and storage, and controls those points. It is a baseline requirement for supplying food to vessels in Dubai.
ISO 22000
An international food-safety management standard covering the whole chain from receiving to delivery. It is the broader management system that sits around day-to-day HACCP controls.

How provisions reach your vessel

Cold-store interior with monitored refrigerated shelving
Step 01

Sourcing

We buy from the strongest, most reliable suppliers in the market, chosen for consistent quality and grade. Every supplier in our chain holds HACCP certification, so food-safety standards are built in at source, not just checked at our door.

Step 02

Goods inward

Everything is inspected before acceptance — temperature checked on chilled and frozen loads, produce graded, dates and packaging examined, failures rejected at the door.

Step 03

Cold storage

Separate chiller, freezer and dry storage; temperatures monitored and recorded.

Step 04

Picking & dispatch

Picked against the requisition, checked before leaving, temperature verified again at dispatch.

Step 05

Delivery

Chilled and frozen goods travel in our own refrigerated fleet — including the long haul east to Fujairah and Khor Fakkan.

Step 06

Traceability & recall

We keep records that trace a delivered item back to its supplier and batch, so if a product is recalled we can tell you within hours whether it reached your vessel.

Compliance

Licensed and approved for ship supply in Dubai, in compliance with Dubai Maritime Authority requirements.
